Until the recent past, a treatment for Duchenne remained a dream.  On September 19, 2016, the first treatment that could help up to 13% of children with Duchenne, received accelerated approved by the FDA.  Although this was a great moment, and a day that warranted incredible celebration, we have a long way to go. We are proud of this progress in our community, but we can’t be satisfied.  We won’t stop until there is a treatment for every single child and young adult battling Duchenne.

With the brilliant scientific minds and the countless supporters who fuel our mission, we are closer than ever to a treatment for all.  This generation could be the first to survive Duchenne. Every one of our supporters and sponsors is a part of making that happen. We are that close.
